6/17 "Shine Your Light" Unisex Tee

The mighty Mos Def created a classic when he blazed the studio and completed "Black On Both Sides". Fresh off of his Black Star duo with Talib Kweli, he took us on a  journey into his creative psyche. "Umi Says" is one of those records that will be around forever. He sang and riffed over a smooth, uptempo jazz track, with heavy spiritually influenced lyrics. The delivery was free flowing and unwritten. He told he us at the beginning of the record that "I don't wanna write this down, I wanna tell you how I feel right now...", then proceeded to deliver one of the most inspirational songs ever. Only Mos Def could deliver a legendary uplifting freestyle.
